Radio waves in my head, and Band-aids

I saw Up this weekend and I'd started pondering Pixar's films and their absence of female main characters. There's many supporting ones, but the stories aren't about them. (Congratulations, Dreamworks Animation -- you beat Pixar to this with Monsters and Aliens.) Today a friendsfriends list's comments pointed to this link from NPR, and YES SO MUCH.
